Equipment: A shaker or a stirring glass, and a long glass

INGREDIENTS

  1. 2 parts Grey Goose Vodka (or any)
  2. Half a lemon (to taste)
  3. 4 parts of organic tomato juice
  4. 4 dashes of Worcesteshire sauce
  5. 4 dashes of Tabasco (or any hot sauce)
  6. Pinch of fleur de sel (sea salt)
  7. Pinch of black pepper
  8. Some cubed ice

To garnish: Celery, ground black pepper and fresh aromatic herbs

DIRECTIONS

  1. Add plenty of ice and all of your ingredients to a shaker or stirring glass.
  2. If you are using a shaker, tilt it backward and forward a few times to mix the ingredients without making the drink frothy. If you are stirring, you may do so vigorously.
  3. Pour the mix into a glass. Add more cubed ice if it is not quite full.
  4. Add your garnishes. Any fresh herbs or a celery stick works well.
  5. Tabasco Tip: if you are making Bloody Marys for a group of people, make a jug without spice and let people add their own Tabasco. Some like it hot, others not so much!
